Californian Delay

The plan was to leave for LA today. Airtran has a student discount for people ages 18 - 22 to fly on standby for around a hundred bucks. I told myself that this was how I was going to get out to the west coast, even though I have been screwed over by this system this past summer. I was going to try and catch the 9:30 flight but could not sleep very well. My alarm was set for 6, but I could not sleep. I ended getting up at 5 to finish up my packing. While waiting around for 6 to come, I realized I did not want to fly at all. I absolutely hate airports.

So instead of leaving today and possibly being there at this moment, I have decided to take Grey Hound on Monday the 7th of April. In the mean time, I will be trying to sell some of my stuff I no longer need (text books, scooters, other items), getting health insurance (not being a student is not all its cracked up to be), and having my birthday in GA (I could leave the 3rd on Grey Hound, but having my birthday with complete strangers on a bus does not sound like a terribly great time for me...).

So, unfortunately, no crazy adventure stories yet. But I did get my head buzzed by my father and lets just say the clippers were not the best. I will post pictures when I get the chance.

I am missing Athens and wishing I could be there for the salt and pepper party and Ultimate tournament :(
